Today I was reflecting on Valentine's Day as I ate some See's chocolates at work. It really is all about the candy! I personally like chocolate, those conversation hearts and cute and everything but they really aren't that good. and they WILL give you interproximal cavities if you don't floss immediately after eating!
Anyways, pretty much any kind of chocolate is good, but it is best when it contains nuts and caramel. Caramel, not carmel.
Right now Cory is ironing his shirts that I washed more than a week ago, I'm pretty sure I told him I would iron them but I never got around to it! Sorry, love!
I've never had a "significant other"around V-day (we're still talking about Valentines day, not Virgin day, if there is such a thing). I have gotten close twice, close to having a Valentine, not close to anything that has to do with virginism.. hahahaha that whole paragraph was awkward. Please don't read it again.
The first time was when I was 16, and me and this boy "liked" each other and we were in that awkward stage where you act like you don't see them but you peek at each other from the corner of your eye, and then you eventually talk and then hug for like 5 minutes, which is a waaaay long time. Anyways he came up to me and handed me a burned CD, said something like "here," and walked away. I didn't even realize it was a Valentines Day present until I realized that it was, in fact, Valentines Day!
The second time was just last year! Cory asked me on our first date around Valentines day. I don't remember the exact day, but I do know that we went on our first date on February 19, 2011. And he asked me like a week before that. So I guess that is kind of a Valentines Day presents. On our first date we went to Famous Dave's and then we went to Gnomeo and Juliet, haha.
So this year is the real deal! I am excited to see what having a cool and not lame Valentine's Day is like! And what am I even supposed to get a boy for this girly, lovey dovey holiday?
