Weeks 21-25

Second trimester is awesome! I am really enjoying my pregnancy at this point. I am feeling great even though I tired in a lot of these pictures.  We celebrated my 22nd birthday and Cory's 23rd with family and we also took a little trip to California! We stayed with a few people from Cory's mission and we totally enjoyed ourselves. I think I really "popped" while we were in California. But it could have been all the food I ate . . . and I had to wear my glasses for 3 weeks because I needed to go to the eye doctor for new contacts! Funny, funny.

Weight gain: by 25 weeks - 10 pounds

Showing yet? Yes

Food aversions/cravings: I love red meat and I still don't like melted cheese or pizza or chicken. Still loving fruit! Vegetables.. not so much.

Baby preparation: Since I know we're having a girl I just have to give in sometimes and buy the cute dress I see at Target, I really can't stop myself! We bought some newborn size diapers and wipes too.
.
Other things: I have been getting pretty bad heartburn! I eat tums like candy and it really helps.

(I still get tired by the end of my work day, so I sleep on Tutu)

(His candles look like a big fire)

(Cory and I both had Martin Luther King Jr day off, so we went to North Hi way cafe, which is SO GOOD)

(23 weeks)

(I decided to hold up a sign for a few weeks so I wouldn't get my 20s mixed up)

(Bob's Big Boy Burgers.. I think that is what it's called)

(We love the beach! Why do we live in Idaho?)

(We were able to go to the LA temple, it is a beautiful building)

Weeks 17- 20

Wow these past few weeks have been crazy!! We went to Utah to shop and go to the Mormon Tabernacle Christmas Concert, which was AMAZING. I love Alfie Boe.  We also went to go find out what we're having and our baby was turned the wrong way so we couldn't tell! I probably had a bad attitude but it made me grouchy for the rest of the day. We had Christmas and New Years too! Oh, and last but not least, we moved out of our basement apartment and into a house! Yay! The house we are in belongs to a couple that are currently living in Portugal serving an LDS mission, we also get to watch  their 18 year old Bichon Frise, Poppy! He his very sweet. OH and last last but not least, we got our little dog Tutu! We adopted her from the animal hospital my older sister, Jill works at. She is a Shih- Tzu and has one eye and I love her fiercely.

Weight gain: 7 pounds. I am waiting to gain 5 lbs in one week. It is going to happen I just know it.

Showing yet? I think so! Even with a whole outfit on I think I am showing.

Food aversions: Chicken, melted cheese, pizza, ANY raw meat, even the smell of ground beef being cooked just makes me feel gross.

Food cravings: gummy worms.. any kind of sour candy. Chocolate really doesn't do it for me anymore, so shocking! I love any kind of fruit, especially strawberries, which is a hard craving to have this time of year.  I have found personal watermelons and those are good. But they are expensive!

Baby preparation:  My Uncle Todd and Aunt Julie offered to give us their crib and changing table, which was so kind of them I just want to cry when I think about it. Cory gave me a rocking chair for Christmas, and My mom gave me some sleepers.

Here are some pictures from weeks 17-20

Weeks 9-16

Weight gain: I have gained about five pounds!! I lost about that much from morning sickness/lack of appetite/stomach flue, so I guess I am kind of even.

Showing yet? Not really, so when I am fully dressed I have to be wearing something pretty fitting if I want to show!

Morning sickness: this went away for me around 13 weeks. I think living in our basement apartment made my sickness so much worse!! I also got a headache everyday.

Food aversions: chicken, raw meat, pizza, melted cheese

Food cravings: twisted Cheetos, then I ate some and now they sound gross ha ha. And steak.

Baby preparation: I haven't bought a single thing!

I am starting to feel good, the second trimester is so awesome! I feel like a normal person! I think I have felt the baby move, maybe. I am probably just feeling myself digest. I feel like being pregnant isn't real yet! It is still crazy to me. Two memorable things during the last few weeks: we celebrated our 1 year anniversary and we had our family pictures taken!

(13 weeks, at Little America celebrating our anniversary)
