So the other day at work, my boss comes in and he has three HUGE Zucchini's with him, he tell us they are ours for the taking. So I took one home, thinking I could do something with it.
The next day I was at work for FOREVER because after work my co worker needed to have some work done, which was fine because I like my co workers. So I get home around 6 and Cory had made dinner! He made Baked Mac n' cheese and Zucchini casserole. It was basically mac n cheese with chunks of Zucchini in it. I was like, "Cory how did you know how to make this?"
He goes, "Oh I looked it up online." Woweee!! Without pinterest? How? (haha)
Anyways we ate this casserole and it was surprisingly good. I may have thought it was even more delicious because I didn't have to make it, that's how it works, right?
Later that night I opened our Ipad and I saw the recipe was opened, so i read it. Then I exited out of that window and the next page was a google search page, and typed into the search box was, "How to cut a large Zucchini."
Hahahahahahaha you guys I about died laughing!!! He said, "Well I didn't know if I should cut it in half and then slice it into wedges or if I should slice it..."
He ended up just slicing it without cutting it in half. I thought it was so cute that he was worried about how to cut the Zucchini!!

Guess where my keys ended up?
Cory just came up to me and handed me my car keys.
They were wet.
It had been raining outside so I thought thats what it was from but he hadn't been outside with my keys. So I asked him why they were wet.
He said, "Do you need these?"
I said,"Yes probably, where were they?"
"In the garbage disposal."
Then I looked at them
So, the moral of the story is to pay attention to where you put your car keys. Or else four of your keys will bend when your husband turns the garbage disposal on.
I also put the salt and pepper in the fridge, thank you very much.

I was tricked, pranked, bamboozled..
A few weeks ago on a Friday night, Cory and I decided to stay up reeeally late (like 1 am wow!!), I think that's the night we played "pizza roll" haha. Anyways we decided it was okay to stay up late like teenagers since the next day was Saturday and we could sleep in! Anyways before we go to bed Cory says to me, "Hey do you wanna go run errands with me tomorrow morning at like 10?"
To that I said, "Ugh I don't get to sleep in until ten?" I ended up agreeing to go anyways. I will snag any amount of time I can get with that boy, since school and his eleventy jobs keep him so busy!! But I really appreciate his hard work.
Anyways the next morning Cory wakes me up and says, "Hayley it's 10 do you want to get up and get ready so we can go?"
Okay the first thing I noticed was that I was SO dang tired. I was thinking 'is this normal to be THIS tired? Why do I want to sleep for 3 more hours?' So I got up, got ready pretty fast, but while I was getting ready Cory kept telling me that I was okay and to take my time, I was ready by about 10:45. We had to get out the door people, our apartment doesn't have ANY windows and we wanted to get out in the sunshine!
So we walk through the basement and up the stairs and out the door. Cory opened the door for me and the first thing I noticed is that it was still cold outside. It was supposed to be warm! Then I noticed that it was kind of a dreary day, there was NO sun. That was strange because Cory told me it was supposed to be a really nice day! So I got this look of disdain/disgust/confusion on my face. Then Cory started laughing and said...
"Little do you know that it is actually 7:45 in the morning and we are going on a little trip today!!"
He totally fooled me. The night before when he was 'going to the bathroom' he set all of our clocks three hours ahead, and took my phone!!!!!! You sneeeaky husband!! I never know where my phone is so I didn't really push it when I couldn't find it before we went to bed.
That day we ended up going to Mackay resevoir and Craters of the moon and just exploring everything, and we ate at a ma & pa diner in Arco. It was actually really fun!! I loved just being in the car with him and actually getting to talk and laugh with him for longer than an hour, again, the busy school/work thing really splits up our together time.
But as the day wore on I went from thinking, "Oh this was such a cute thing for him to do!! I have the best husband!! He loves me!!" to thinking, "Oh.. he set the clocks ahead so I would actually get up without complaining (since I thought it was so much later)." So then I felt kinda dumb. But I do still think I have the best husband!!
So, despite him tricking me, it was a really fun day and everyone we told about Cory's trickery got a kick out of it!! (Especially my brothers, haha)

I just realized..
..that Cory has had the same shampoo in the same bottle since we got married.. that is like almost six months!
..I lick the bottom part of the threads on a waterbottle before I drink because I hate it when a little bit dribbles onto my chin
..I've only washed my hair once this whole week
..that since I've been put into nursery, none of my skirts are long enough
..that I need to text Karly
..that I am bored
..I need an animal
..Cory still isn't home
..I left a curd of cottage cheese on the counter for 2 days, it is now yellow. But I think Cory picked it up.
..Cory is home now so I'm gonna go, man

Valentine's Day thighs, I mean thoughts
Today I was reflecting on Valentine's Day as I ate some See's chocolates at work. It really is all about the candy! I personally like chocolate, those conversation hearts and cute and everything but they really aren't that good. and they WILL give you interproximal cavities if you don't floss immediately after eating!
Anyways, pretty much any kind of chocolate is good, but it is best when it contains nuts and caramel. Caramel, not carmel.
Right now Cory is ironing his shirts that I washed more than a week ago, I'm pretty sure I told him I would iron them but I never got around to it! Sorry, love!
I've never had a "significant other"around V-day (we're still talking about Valentines day, not Virgin day, if there is such a thing). I have gotten close twice, close to having a Valentine, not close to anything that has to do with virginism.. hahahaha that whole paragraph was awkward. Please don't read it again.
The first time was when I was 16, and me and this boy "liked" each other and we were in that awkward stage where you act like you don't see them but you peek at each other from the corner of your eye, and then you eventually talk and then hug for like 5 minutes, which is a waaaay long time. Anyways he came up to me and handed me a burned CD, said something like "here," and walked away. I didn't even realize it was a Valentines Day present until I realized that it was, in fact, Valentines Day!
The second time was just last year! Cory asked me on our first date around Valentines day. I don't remember the exact day, but I do know that we went on our first date on February 19, 2011. And he asked me like a week before that. So I guess that is kind of a Valentines Day presents. On our first date we went to Famous Dave's and then we went to Gnomeo and Juliet, haha.
So this year is the real deal! I am excited to see what having a cool and not lame Valentine's Day is like! And what am I even supposed to get a boy for this girly, lovey dovey holiday?

I'm complaining
So this weekend ended up being kind of crazy, so crazy that Cory and I don't get to see each other AT ALL. That means we have to go 2 weeks without seeing each other!! I had to work late friday, then pull a double on Saturday, and in between my shifts is right when Cory works, so we don't even get to talk today. It drives me nuts and it makes me cry. There are things to be planned and talked about with the wedding. This really is torture for me, haha. I shouldn't even complain because one of my best friend's husband is in Afghanistan right now and she doesn't get to see him for a year! Plus he's at war!! Cory is just in Idaho Falls working. And I'm complaining about 2 weeks. Also I am missing Joy's birthday party tonight which I am really sad about, ew.
It's times like these that I am SO excited to move back to Idaho Falls.. but I am so so sad to be leaving Logan. I have so many awesome friends here, and I've had my best and worst times in this city. I am just going t hrough a whirlwind of emotions with this whole relocating my life thing.
Anyways, I need to be strong like Cory. He just does the best he can with whatever situation he is given, most of the time without complaining. Sometimes I feel bad that he has to see me through this storm of emotions, haha. It'll be great.

Best 4th Ever!
The fourth of July was WAY AWESOME!! Because
1) I got to spend the majority of the day with 2 of my best friends
2) I watched the IDAHO FALLS fireworks which are way better than Pocatello's, I don't care what anyone says.
We started the day off with going to the parade, which is so fun with the little ones. I didn't have my camera with me so that was lame. Anyways, Joy's niece Eliza kept hugging everyone. And when she saw this cute little house on the back of a truck she put her arms up and said, "I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you!" Hahahaha and she danced with the music. It was great.
Cory's cute little sister Jodee was on one of the floats for her school, lounging on a lawn chair (I think that's what it is called, maybe a beach chair? Maybe a lounge chair?) with her sunglasses on.. just waving at the crowd, it was awesome!! We all cheered really loudly for her and she blew kisses in our direction. So that was awesome.
After the parade we ate lunch and talked... then we had the rest of the afternoon to relax!! Cory and I played Mario Kart and I am getting pretty good. I think I will get out of 8th place soon.
Later in the day we went to Grandma Whittiers for a bbq before the fireworks! Yum, yum, yum. Homemade ice cream. Yuuuum!!
Anyways the fireworks were amazing! I forgot how much I love them. I haven't been to the Idaho Falls fireworks show since 2007! It was an awesome day and I am so happy the Whittier's let me join them!
(Missionary tag! Cute)
(Cyclops)
(The reason we are best friends is because she makes this face)
(Joy being herself)
(Best friends.. and twins I guess!)
(uh...)
(I'm going to put this in my nose)
(And then I'm going to put it in my mouth)
(Meili & Joy after the fireworks!)
(Yum)
(Whaaaat a keeper!)
I hope everyone had a fabulous fourth!!! I saw a lot of old friends and if any of you read this I LOVED seeing you! So, so fun.
PS-- in my two wedding posts I noticed I misspelled a lot of things. I just wanted you to know that I noticed haha.
