THE Wedding, Part two

After the Utah part of the wedding on Friday, we also had an Open house in our town at Good ol' Destinations Inn. I know that seems like a different place to have a reception but don't judge, it was so nice! And it was fun to come see everyone support Preston and Jenny. Here are a few pics:

Hope everyone is having a grand summer!!  I'm sorry if I have been M.I.A in getting up to date on your lives, I promise I love all of you and think about you and wonder how you're doing and hope you're doing great!!

THE Wedding, Part one

I haven't blogged in like four years! Life has been so crazy lately! So I will just tell you what I have been up to. I am working, going to school, and I just started an INTERNSHIP at a dental office and I love it!! But it makes my schedule so tight and I am beat at the end of every day. But I would so much rather be worn down at the end of the day than full of energy, that way I can participate in my favorite pastime, sleeping. Mmmm delicious.

OKAY so Memorial Day weekend!! It was so fun, we had a bunch of family over for a BBQ, we played games, games that almost offended Cory but he ended up being okay (haha). It was so fun and I Have two pictures from that weekend on my camera:

(Okay see where the water and grass meet? There is a sidewalk in there somewhere, it is so flooded!)

Okay so next item of business was Preston and Jenny's WEDDING!! Okay may I just say it was the funnest two day sof my life. The night before we had an "adult only" dinner at Magleby's in Provo (maybe Orem I don't know). A few people gave toasts, and Jenny sang "You Got Me" by Colbie Caillat. I loved it! Whitney came too and I love, love, loved having her there!!

(Whitney!)

(okay my sisters are cute but I look like I haven't slept for a week, which was pretty much true at that time)

(Jenny singing, that column got in my way though, rude)

The next morning I literally rolled out of bed in my mom's pj bottoms and my dads XL shirt and went to breakfast in the hotel. It's nice to know that I am one of the classiest people I know. After that my mom, Emily, and I headed to Jill's to fix our hair and head to Bare Escentuals to get our make up done. Jill also did Jenny's make up and it looked fabulous!

We made it to the SLC temple a few minutes before they came out and once they did it was happiness all around!! I loved it! So we went on a picture taking frenzy. Emily and I agreed that this was the most make up we had ever worn in our lives. The lady who did Jill's make up (she says here name is Ken-dell like you pronoun dell like a dell computer but I think her name is just Kendell and she wants to be fancy) tried giving her fuller lips by lining her upper lip on her skin and it ended up with a mexi looking result. Sorry if that offended anyone, but it was funny I couldn't stop laughing. You can see it in some of the pictures just look closely.

(My Aunt Julie and her daughter, Katelyn, she is my favorite)

(emily is a giantess height-wise)

(Preston wiping lipstick of his lips)

(One of my forever best friends)

(the groomsmen. I will post about bridesmaids later, I dont have the pictures!)

After the temple we headed down to Orem where the reception was to be held. But before the reception there was a light dinner served... PIZZA!! Malawi's pizza, it was divine. I had to give a toast, along with Emily, and Jenny's brothers Jeff and Brandon. I don't even remember what I said in my speech but thats okay.  After that the reception began it and it was SO MUCH FUN. Some of our odest family friends came to help us celebrate. It was a great, great night.

(Okay my new friend Jennie! She is Jenny's cousin and she is fabulous. Also, everyone is named Jenny/Jennie lately)
(My cousin Eric, he is single so if you want his digits let me know)

(sign in table!)

(Beauty, glory)

Anyways it was so wonderful and I am SO HAPPY for Preston and Jenny, their marriage felt so natural and so right, even to me. And I wasn't even the one getting married haha. I am so happy Preston found someone to spend forever with! He has always been one of my best friends and I am so glad he found someone as awesome as Jenny. I love them both!!

Congratulations you guys!!
