Adalyn: 3, 4, 5 months old!
It seems like I blinked and all the sudden Adalyn was 5 months old! I have been SO bad at keeping up to date on this here blog, to be honest I haven't felt like updating much. I have been totally enjoying my lil Addie Jo. She is so much fun and so smiley! We have also moved, Cory started school and I started working again so needless to say, things have been cray cray around here.
Things Adalyn does:
-wears 0-3 mo and 3-6 mo clothing as of 4 months old.
-wears size 2 diapers
-Smiles a lot
-can walk backwards in her walker
-she can arch her back really high so she is basically balancing on her head and feet
-she also arches her back in her swing and can roll out of it so easily it is scary, so we have to strap her in now
-she knows when I am getting her out of the carseat because she lifts her head up to help herself get out
-she squeals and squawks really loud, especially in relief society.
-she can roll over to her tummy, but does not know how to roll back yet
-Started eating rice cereal (4.5 months) a few times a week to get her used to a spoon
-Very stingy with her laughs and giggles
-chews on her feet
-has been going to bed around 7:30 pm (yay!) and wakes up around 4 am to eat and goes back to sleep until 7 or 8.
-can sit up for a few seconds if she supports herself with her hands
-reaches for the sacrament tray (5 months) and anything we are eating
Things Adalyn likes:
-Smiling
-LOVES splashing in the bath
-grabbing anything she can get her hands on
-standing in her walker
-standing up
-being on her back and playing by herself every once in a while
-being sung to
-being talked to
-rubbing her blankies on her face when she is tired
-being held while you walk around
-being outside
-still likes being swaddled
-the morning time (she is SO HAPPY in the mornings, I love it)
-playing with my silicone brush that is supposed to be used to brush butter on things
Things Adalyn doesn't like:
-laying on her back most of the time
-being by herself for too long
-doing the same thing for too long
-being held while you're sitting down
-looking at the same thing for too long
-being in her carseat
-being hungry
-being tired
-cries when you copy her screams/squeal
-her bumbo
-the "kissing" sounds- instantly makes her cry
-immunizations - she is grouchy for like a week after...it is terrible
We love our little girl so so much. Now here is a picture dump from the last three months. Enjoy!

Adalyn: 2 months old!
Wow! Adalyn is two months old. I can't believe it. I will probably start every monthly post out like that!
Things Adalyn does:
-Smiles a lot
-holds her head up during tummy time, and uses her arms as support
-she has learned how to cry LOUD
-sleeps in 6-7 hour stretched at night
-her eyes track very well
-loves to stare at peoples faces
-smiling spontaneously
-makes lots of cooing noises or "gee" "aye" or "ahhhhh" in a sing song voice
-wiggles so much, even while she's eating
Things Adalyn likes:
-smiling
-dad and mom
-holding her self up with her arms
-eating
-kicking her legs in the air when she's on her back
-accidentally rolling over when her head topples over after tummy time
-laying on my legs while I talk to her
-being talking to
-being held
-being outside
-being swaddled
-still LOVES bath time
-staring at the mobile above her swing
-the front carrier, yay!
Things Adalyn doesn't like:
-being hungry
-being on her stomach too long
-sometimes when she is on her stomach she spits up a little bit and then drops her head into her spit up so it gets ALL over her face, and even in her eyes sometimes. She doesn't like that
-getting out of the bath
-looking at one thing for too long or being in the same position for too long
-going to bed before 10 pm (I think she might be a night owl like me ah! I have tried to put her to bed at 7:30 or 8 and it doesn't work. Ever.)
-sitting in her carseat for too long
-being tired, she is starting to get really mad if she gets overtired.
Adalyn is such a fun little bug! She is interacting more and more everyday. Here are some pictures from her second month of life.

(The ladies from the Presbyterian church threw Adalyn a baby shower! They are so good to us.)
(Adalyn and Grandpa W)
(Tut will sit right next to her but not look at her or sniff her, unless Adalyn touches her first)
(Reading together)
(Such a strong girl!)
(She was sad for some reason.)
The Fourth of July and the weekend after
We always have FUN on the fourth of July, since I've been married it has become one of my favorite holidays! Here are some pictures, I didn't end up taking very many which is SAD but it is a common occurrence these days.
(Ashlyn loved this, even went up the stairs! Ha ha)
(Grace is so big! We wish Sam and Megan lived closer!)
(Adalyn slept through all the fireworks! Even the loud ones. Quick story: the fireworks were postponed for an hour due to someone drowning in the river, which is so so sad. But Adalyn even slept through all the waiting! I was nervous because there was no way we could leave because of how crowded downtown was.)
(The flash was very bright)
(The next day we had family pictures)
(Ashlyn was getting upset with all the picture taking, then lo, and behold a man comes walking up with 5 Chihuahuas in tow, and then she was fine when he let us use them to cheer her up! This guy didn't even have them on leashes, it was so peculiar.)
(After taking family pictures we all headed up to Island park for some R&R at a cool cabin we rented for the weekend)
(We had some type to feats of strength deal going on. I walked in in the middle of it so I don't really know haha)
(They were seeing who could throw the ball the highest and straightest while keeping their elbows on the ground. Harder than it looks!)
(Then Cory wanted to show off his flexibility, he can do the splits. Isn't that gross? And cool?)
(Adalyn loves taking a bath!)
(Grace kills me, she is the cutest lil thing)
(Sweet girl)
(minute to win it games! I actually completed this one)
(We had to move the cotton balls to the other bowl with our noses that were coated in Vaseline)
(Sorry all my pics are blurry. We had to try and keep the balloons in the air for a minute. None of us could do it for even 10 seconds!)
(Tonya took this with her phone and it is hilarious. Adalyn was on her legs but for some reason it turned out like this, she kind of looks like an alien.
(Lora, Cory's cousin got married!)
(James & Joy, JJ how cute!)
The fourth and the week after were SO jam packed but they were also so much fun! I loved spending so much time with my Whitt fam! They are truly the best and so much fun to be around. And Adalyn is such an awesome baby, what a trooper with all the carting around we did.
Edit: I just found all these pictures that I forgot about from our adventure in Island Park!
Now for more minute in win it games...
